LaRoyce Keene, CGC and Debby Keene, CBC

As Managing Principal, LaRoyce is well versed in bringing people — both clients and colleagues — together. His eye for design and 41 years of dedication to this industry enable him to transform client ideas and aspirations into beautiful built solutions. With an exceptional propensity for architectural sketching coupled with unwavering commitment to design excellence, LaRoyce is able to understand and communicate the best ways to approach construction details with veteran craftsmanship. This deep understanding of all aspects related to design and construction makes him a one-of-a-kind leader, designer, teacher, and father.

As Principal-in-Charge, Debby brings more than 40 years of comprehensive building and design experience working with both residential and commercial clients, and including more than $35 million of projects throughout the state of Florida. She is recognized and valued for her insightful creativity; constantly applying expertise and innovative thinking to the entire process. Day to day, she sees to it that the work being done on-site resonates with its distinct design intention. Debby's leadership style focuses on partnership, collaboration, and communication, and the lasting impacts they have on design outcomes.

 

Maddy Keene, Executive Assistant

Maddy provides support and coordination in all areas of work for Mozart's leadership team. The combination of a formal engineering background and creative mind lends itself to her ability to interpret, organize, and execute all phases of design - from conception to completion. Maddy has been instrumental in building Mozart's brand identity through online initiatives including social media and digital communications. Her fresh perspective offers a unique pairing to the tried-and-true methods that the company has mastered over the decades; whether working with clients or the team, she is an invaluable collaborator. 

 

Luke Keene, MArch, AAIA, CBC Architectural Designer

Luke is a strategic and flexible thinker who is keenly focused on client projects that require inventive design solutions. He engrosses himself in design challenges and works to protect the vision, program, budget, and schedule unique to each client endeavor. As an Associate Architect and Florida Building Contractor, Luke collaborates on educational, civic, historic, and residential projects of all sizes. His ability to recognize opportunities at the site results in buildings with meaningful spaces, exceptional features, and modern craftsmanship that withstand the test of time.

Melissa Vu, MBA, FF&E Design Consultant

With formal backgrounds in hospitality, event, and business management, Melissa’s passion for elevating the user experience began many years ago. By building upon these strengths and interests within various roles in Tampa's architecture and design industry, this skillset now extends to the full range of textile, furniture, and graphic specifications. Moreover, as a highly creative designer, Melissa is also skilled at inspiring others - colleagues, clients, and vendors - through forward-thinking design and lasting partnerships, making every project she touches better.
